Since January 2023, The New Majority has featured 21 companies, highlighting incredibly passionate and smart founders, and the growth and impact of their companies ✨. As we head into Thanksgiving (no edition coming out next week as we take a day of rest), we’re taking this week to reflect on the new companies added to TNM portfolio and how we’re aligning with our mission to close the racial and gender wealth gap through entrepreneurship and investing.

Out of the 21 companies we have featured, a whopping 71.4% are led by incredible female founders! And 23% were founded by women of color. 🚺💪

Many of the companies cross industries, with Akua focused on sustainability & food and beverage, BabyQuip combining tech & sustainability, Substack merging media and tech, and so on. One of the key differentiators about The New Majority is that we don't just look for companies with great traction, large markets, interesting products, and impressive teams; we look for companies with impact built into their business model. Painterland Sisters: The Painterland Sisters are spreading their delicious yogurt far and wide! They're in 80 new stores across the country, and that's not all – their Peach and 24 oz Vanilla flavors are now available in Sprouts nationwide! 🛒
Recompose: Paused their plans to build out a Denver facility, instead focusing on licensing partners and growing Precompose memberships.
